SHOPPING
This is a shopping assistant that keeps track of your purchases and helps you calculate the total price after tax and any percentage discount.USING SHOPPING - Just enter the Price of the item, enter a Sale discount, if any, and set the State Tax to calculate the exact total amount you paid for the item.
SELECT LABEL- It allows categorizing your purchases by selecting a label for the item when the [Select Label] button is pressed.
KEEP ITEMS - The [Keep] button moves the last entered item to the tally.
ITEMS LIST - A list of the last ten items in the tally is shown on the screen on the left side of the numeric keyboard.
VIEW TALLY - To view all your items, press the [View Tally] button. This will show the list of items you have purchased.
DELETE ITEMS - To delete items from the Tally window, press the [Delete] button on the top bar.
EDIT ITEM - To modify an Item, from the Tally window tap on the Item you want to modify to get to the [Editing Item] window. There you can change the label, the amount or the date of the item. - To change the date of the item, in the [Editing Item] window press the orange button where the date and time is displayed. This will enable the date dial to change the date. - To switch back to the numeric keyboard tap on the orange date button again, or tap on the Amount input box or press the [x] button on top of the date dial. Date entries can not be older than the current date-time. TOOLS - You can Sort Items by Date, Label name and Amount by pressing the [Tools] button. - On the Tools window just press the desired order from the [Sort Items by] section.
EMAIL / DELETE - You can also select Email/Delete items from the [Tally Tools] window to Email and/or Delete All Transactions (Items), by Month or by Label.
BALANCER
Balancer is a tool that helps you staying in control of your accounts and your finances by providing a quick and easy way to record your financial transactions.
ADD NEW ACCOUNTS - In the [Select Account] window press the [Add] button in the toolbar. You can create as many Accounts as needed. - You can also create, edit and delete Accounts in Settings-Accounts option. Accounts can not be modified in the Balancer [Select Account] window. - When there is only one Account, Balancer will skip the [Select Account] window and will go straight to the Account's transactions window.
CREATE TRANSACTIONS - From the [Select Account] window, select the account you want to work with. In the Account transactions window press the [Add] button to add new transactions. In the [Add Transaction] window, select the label description of the transaction by pressing [Select Label] button. Enter the amount of the transaction using the numeric keyboard. Set the date and time by pressing the Date-Time orange button. Tap on one of the check boxes to select the type of transaction, [Withdrawal] or [Deposit]. Press the [Save] button to save the transaction.
EDIT TRANSACTIONS - From the Account transactions window, select the transaction you want to modify. In the [Editing Transaction] window, change the label description by pressing [Select Label] button, change the amount using the numeric keyboard, change date and time by pressing the Date-Time orange button, change the type of transaction by taping on the [Withdrawal] or [Deposit] check box. Press the [Save] button to save the changes.
FUTURE TRANSACTIONS (Pending) - Balancer allows entering transactions that will occur in the future, just set the future date and time when the transaction will become active. Pending transactions appear in gray color in the transactions list and they are not accounted as part of the balance amount shown in the toolbar in the Account transactions window.
TOOLS - The [Tools] button allows Sorting, Viewing, Email and Delete transactions. - Different transaction Views are available in the [View] section of the [Tools] button. - Sort transactions by Date, Label and Amount by selecting one of the options in the [Sort Transactions] section of the [Tools] buttons. Email or Delete all transactions, or select by month or label by selecting one of the options in the [Email / Delete] section of the [Tools] button.
TIPS
Tips is a tip calculator which allows splitting the bill and rounding up and down the total bill.
USING TIPS - Just enter the Bill Amount using the numeric keyboard. The total tip amount and the total Bill amount are instantly calculated on every button tap.
CHANGE TIP % - Press the plus or minus [Tip %] buttons to adjust the Tip percentage, or tap on the [Tip] percentage input box on top and enter a new value using the numeric keyboard.
SPLIT BILL - Press the plus or minus [Split] buttons to split the total bill amount.
ROUND BILL AMOUNT - Press the plus or minus [Round $] button to round up or down the bill amount. Each calculated value is adjusted on every button tap.
ACCOUNTS
This module allows adding, editing and deleting Accounts.
ADD NEW ACCOUNTS - In the [Edit Accounts] window press the [Add] button in the toolbar. Use the keyboard to enter the name of the Account, select a logo for the account and press [Save] or [Done] buttons to create the Account.
EDIT ACCOUNTS - In the [Edit Accounts] window select the account you want to modify. Use the keyboard to modify the name of the Account, select a logo and press [Save] or [Done] buttons to save the changes.
DELETE ACCOUNTS - In the [Edit Accounts] window press the [Delete] button then select the account you want to delete. Select [Continue] in the confirmation box.
LABELS
This module allows adding, editing and deleting Labels for Items and Account transactions. iTally provides a set of 18 predefined Label descriptions.
ADD NEW LABELS - In the [Labels] window press the [Add new Label] button on the top of the list. In the [Adding Label] window, use the keyboard to enter the new Label and press [Save] or [Done] buttons to create the Label. Labels are ordered by name.
EDIT LABELS - In the [Labels] window select the label you want to modify. Use the keyboard to modify the Label description and press [Save] or [Done] buttons to save the changes.
DELETE LABELS - In the [Labels] window press the [Delete] button then select the label you want to delete.
TIPS/SALE/TAX
This section allows setting default values to the Tip, Sales discount and state Tax percentages.
SET DEFAULT TIP - In the [Default Setting] window press the [Tips] input text box, use the numeric keyboard to enter the default Tip percentage.
SET DEFAULT SALE - In the [Default Setting] window press the [-Sale] input text box, use the numeric keyboard to enter the default Sale discount percentage.
Use this option to enter your email address.
SET EMAIL - In the [Email] window use the keyboard to enter your email account, then press the [Add] or [Done] buttons to save the email.
EDIT EMAIL - In the [Email] window use the keyboard to modify your email account, then press the [Add] or [Done] buttons to save the changes.
DELETE EMAIL - In the [Email] window delete your email account from the input text box and press the [Save] or [Done] button.
PASSWORD
Use this option to set up a Password and protect the access to Shopping, Balancer and Settings modules.
SET PASSWORD - In the [Password] window use the keyboard to enter your password, then press the [Add] or [Done] buttons to save the new password.
EDIT PASSWORD - In the [Password] window use the keyboard to modify your password, then press the [Add] or [Done] buttons to save the changes. DELETE PASSWORD - In the [Password] window delete your password from the input text box and press the [Save] or [Done] button.
ACTIVATE PASSWORD - In the [Password] window press the [Activate Password] check box to make your password active and password protect Shopping, Balancer and Settings module. - The [Activate Password] check box becomes available when at least two security questions have been answered.
FORGOT PASSWORD - To recover your password click on the Forgot Password button in the [Enter Password] window then answer the security question.
SECURITY QUESTIONS
Use this option to answer your security questions. iTally provides 21 Security Questions. Answered questions are used to retrieve your password in case you forgot your password.
EXPORT FILE
Use this option to select the file format iTally will use to export your Items or Transactions via email to the email account on file.
SELECT FORMAT - In the [File Format] window select the file format you want to use to export Items or Transactions.
